  • Seeing the Space Needle too? The official combo costs $74 and saves the most at busy afternoon and weekend times; our Space Needle + Chihuly combo guide has the full math. With a third attraction on your list, Seattle C3 ($108) usually works out cheaper.

How much are Chihuly Garden and Glass tickets in 2026?

Adult general admission is $40–45, and seniors and kids 5–12 pay $35–40. These are the official ranges Chihuly Garden and Glass publishes for October 2026, and the ticketing site lists general admission “starting at $45” for the busiest slots. On top come a 5% city admissions tax and a 1% Facility Lease Fee, so a $45 ticket costs $47.70 at checkout. That is the “retail” price you see on GetYourGuide, Viator and Klook.

Official price table

TicketPrice before taxAbout what you’ll pay

Chihuly + Space Needle + IMAX$74~$78
Space Needle Fast Pass combo$129~$137
Group combo, Chihuly + Space Needle (15–50 people)from $62 per person~$66

The Fast Pass combo and the group rate are sold only by the Space Needle; we found no GetYourGuide or Viator listing for either in October 2026.

Why does the price change? (Dynamic pricing explained)

Chihuly prices by date and time, so the same ticket can cost $5 more or less depending on when you go. CityPASS’s published box-office notes put the range at roughly $37–45 for adults and $33–40 for kids “depending on time of visit.” Late-afternoon and weekday slots usually sit at the low end, and midday weekend slots at the top. One TripAdvisor forum poster reported a $15 gap between early and end-of-day slots on a fall Sunday. That is one visitor’s report, not policy, but it shows how wide the swing can get.

Our tip: before you pick a time, click through several slots in the official calendar. A 4pm entry is often cheaper, and from October to February you see the glass lit against dusk.

Is IMAX included with a Chihuly ticket?

Yes, one film. IMAX at the Center says admission “is included with any Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, combo, or Fast Pass combo ticket,” and the official booking portal’s general admission listing mentions “a 30-minute IMAX film, Roll the Dice or Deep Sky.” With a Chihuly-only ticket you see one film; combo holders may stay for both back-to-back. The Plan Your Visit price list names IMAX only in the $74 combo, so check the inclusions on the checkout screen if the film matters to you. The theater is inside Pacific Science Center, and seating is first come, first served.

Is there same-day re-entry?

Don’t count on it. Tickets are scanned for a single entry. The school-group rules say re-entry is not permitted, and visitor reports are mixed. If you want lunch midway, eat at The Bar inside the exhibition, or finish your visit first.

What’s the last entry time?

Arrive at least an hour before closing. CityPASS says last entry is one hour before close, while other sources say 45 minutes. Hours change by day: in late October 2026 the exhibition closed between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm depending on the day. Our visitor guide has the current table, and our guide to the best time to visit Chihuly Garden and Glass covers crowds and light.

Space Needle + Chihuly combo: is it a deal?

Yes at peak times, barely off-peak. The Space Needle advertises “save over 25%,” with the footnote “Savings vary based on date and time of visit.” Here is how that works out for one adult:

Scenario (adult, before tax)Separate ticketsComboYou save
Peak (Needle $55 + Chihuly $45)$100$74$26 (26%)
Mid (Needle $45 + Chihuly $42)$87$74$13 (15%)
Off-peak (Needle $35 + Chihuly $40)$75$74$1

How it works: you pick a timed Space Needle arrival, then walk into Chihuly any time that same day. If you already hold one ticket, the Space Needle says you can show it at either box office and upgrade to the combo at the bundled rate.

Our pick on GetYourGuide: the Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass Ticket ($78, 4.7/5 from 2,775 reviews), with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

What the combo includes, which venue to see first and timed plans for the day are in our Space Needle + Chihuly combo ticket guide. For the Needle on its own, see Space Needle tickets.

Should you use Seattle CityPASS or C3 for Chihuly?

If Chihuly is one of three or more Seattle attractions on your list, a CityPASS product almost always costs less than buying tickets one by one, the combo included.

PassAdult / Child (5–12)What’s includedValid
Seattle CityPASS$139 / $119Space Needle (Day/Night) + Seattle Aquarium + 3 of: Chihuly, Argosy Harbor Cruise, MoPOP, Woodland Park Zoo, Pacific Science Center9 consecutive days
Seattle C3$108 / $89Any 3 of 10, including Chihuly, Space Needle, Aquarium, Museum of Flight, SAM, Sky View Observatory9 consecutive days

Rules that trip people up:

  • Chihuly requires a reservation for CityPASS and C3 holders. Book your slot through the My CityPASS app or the attraction’s reservation link as soon as you buy.
  • Reservations are made together for everyone on one order. If your group will split up, contact CityPASS Customer Care before you reserve anything.
  • CityPASS advertises 365-day risk-free refunds, far more flexible than an official Chihuly ticket.

The math: a C3 with the Space Needle, Chihuly and the Aquarium costs $108. CityPASS’s own regular prices for those three add up to $146.45, so you save $38.45. Against the combo ($78 all-in) plus an Aquarium ticket ($49.95), C3 still saves about $20.

Our pick on GetYourGuide: Seattle CityPASS: 5 Top Attractions ($139, 4.7/5 from 886 reviews). Seattle C3 is sold by CityPASS directly; we found no GetYourGuide or Viator listing for it.

Not sure which of the three tickets fits your trip? Our Chihuly ticket comparison works through each one against a real itinerary.

Are there discount tickets for Chihuly Garden and Glass?

Yes, but the good ones are for locals and are sold only at the box office. Here is what exists and what doesn’t:

Reseller promo codes: on October 20, 2026 Groupon listed the combo at $77.98, or $75.69 with a seasonal code, and Klook showed general admission at $38.25 against a $47.70 retail price, with the combo at $65.35. These deals come and go, and we have not rechecked them since. Reseller vouchers may still have to be swapped for a timed ticket at the box office (see below).

Official site vs. resellers: where should you buy?

Buy direct if your date is fixed. Buy from a reseller with free cancellation if it isn’t. Most authorized resellers sell the same ticket at roughly the official all-in price.

GetYourGuide and Viator prices checked October 23, 2026; the other reseller prices were seen on October 20, 2026 and include tax unless noted. Promo prices are temporary.

The voucher catch: several reseller listings say you must redeem your voucher at the Chihuly box office for a timed ticket, that redemption is “subject to available ticket times,” and that the voucher “does not guarantee a specific entry window.” On a busy summer Saturday you might wait for the next open slot. The GetYourGuide entry ticket says entry is not timed and is valid during opening hours on your date. If you need an exact time with no box-office step, buy official.

Avoid unofficial resale. Chihuly’s terms say that only tickets from Chihuly or its authorized sellers are honored.

What’s the refund, weather and late-arrival policy?

Official tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and valid only for the date and time printed. The Terms & Conditions (updated February 2, 2026) say: “No cancellations, refunds, rain checks or exchanges.” The contact page does offer a “reschedule” route (“cancel your tickets and purchase new tickets”) and a refund-request form, so a polite request may get a goodwill answer, but don’t plan around it.

  • Weather: there are no rain checks. Rain doesn’t spoil the visit: the galleries and Glasshouse are covered, and the glass glows on grey days.
  • Private events: the Glasshouse (Gallery 9) sometimes closes for private events while the rest stays open. Check the “adjusted hours” list before you book.
  • Late arrival: the policy isn’t published. Go to the box office, and staff will usually move you to the next available slot. Space Needle combo arrival windows are stricter, at 5 minutes either side.

How to book Chihuly Garden and Glass tickets (step by step)

Book online a few days ahead, or a couple of weeks ahead in summer, pick the cheapest slot that fits your day, and keep the QR code on your phone.

  1. Decide on your ticket: Chihuly only, the Space Needle combo, or CityPASS/C3 (the table further down helps).
  2. Go to the official ticket page (chihulygardenandglass.com → Buy Tickets) or your chosen reseller.
  3. Pick a date, then compare times. Prices change by slot, so check a late-afternoon slot before you commit.
  4. Choose ticket types: adult, senior or youth. Children under 4 don’t need a ticket.
  5. Pay. Expect the 5% admissions tax and 1% Facility Lease Fee at checkout.
  6. Save the digital ticket. Mobile tickets are scanned at the door, so you don’t need to print.
  7. Resident, military or tribal? Skip online booking and go to the admissions desk with ID.
  8. CityPASS holder? Reserve your Chihuly time in the My CityPASS app right away.

Buying on the day: the box office and kiosks sell tickets, but timed slots have “limited availability,” and summer weekends and cruise days fill up. Glasshouse booking tip: you can’t book a specific Glasshouse time, because it is part of the self-guided route. If you want it in late light, book a slot about 90 minutes before closing.

Special ticketed experiences: Glasshouse tickets and events

Several events sell separate “Glasshouse tickets” that include exhibition admission, and they are the most memorable way in. All must be bought online in advance from Chihuly Garden and Glass:

None of these is sold on GetYourGuide or Viator. Chihuly Garden and Glass doesn’t sell glassblowing classes either; for hands-on glass you need a separate studio in the city. Chihuly Studio’s private Boathouse opens only for limited tours during Refract.

Is a Chihuly ticket good value compared with other Seattle attractions?

At $45 for 1–2 hours, it is priced like Seattle’s other big-ticket sights, and it is one of the few that is just as good in the rain.

AttractionAdult top box-office price (CityPASS data)
Space Needle$51.45
Seattle Aquarium$49.95
Argosy Harbor Cruise$48.29
Chihuly Garden and Glass$45.05
MoPOP$44.95
Pacific Science Center$38.45
Woodland Park Zoo$37.50
Seattle Art Museum$29.99
Museum of Flight$29.00

Price history: Seattle’s Child listed adult admission at $19 in July 2012, shortly after the May 2012 opening (KNKX reported on opening day that locals would pay $15 and tourists $18). A Bellevue College student-discount page later listed “Regular admission is $24,” and adult admission was about $32 by the early 2020s. At $40–45 now, the price has roughly doubled in 14 years.

Our verdict: for most first-time visitors, the official Space Needle + Chihuly combo is the ticket to buy. Book a weekend afternoon or sunset Needle slot, when the bundled discount is at its biggest, and walk into the Glasshouse as the light goes gold. If your plans are shaky, pay the few cents extra for a free-cancellation version. If you have seen Chihuly elsewhere (Bellagio, Kew, Meijer), Seattle’s collection is the most complete, but it is the same artist, and a free walk across Tacoma’s Bridge of Glass may be enough. We compare the two in Chihuly Garden and Glass vs. Museum of Glass (Tacoma).

Savings math: two real examples

Couple doing the Space Needle + Chihuly on a Saturday afternoon

  • Separate peak tickets: 2 × ($55 + $45) = $200 + 6% ≈ $212
  • Official combo: 2 × $74 = $148 + tax ≈ $157
  • Saved: about $55. Adding the Aquarium the next day? 2 × C3 = $216 for all three, against about $257 for the combo plus Aquarium tickets.

Family of four (2 adults, 2 kids aged 7 and 10), Chihuly only

  • Peak official: 2 × $45 + 2 × $40 = $170 + 6% ≈ $180
  • Late-afternoon or off-peak slot: 2 × $40 + 2 × $35 = $150 + 6% ≈ $159
  • Saved by choosing the time slot: about $21. A King County family at the box office may save more.
  • Going big? 2 × CityPASS ($139) + 2 × child CityPASS ($119) = $516 for five attractions each. Buying those five at top box-office prices would cost about $856.

Insider ticket tips

  1. Check three time slots before buying. Prices drop when you are flexible about the hour.
  2. Already bought one ticket? Upgrade to the combo at the box office instead of buying the second attraction at full price.
  3. Locals: don’t buy online. The resident rate is box-office only.
  4. Holding a reseller voucher? Redeem it early in the day so you get the time you want.
  5. Book the Needle slot first, Chihuly second. The combo fixes your Needle time, and Chihuly is “any time same day.”
  6. Check adjusted hours. Glasshouse private events can shorten your visit.
  7. Arriving on a cruise? A free-cancellation reseller ticket protects you if the ship is late.
  8. Gift card holders: go to the admissions desk, because gift cards don’t work online.

Are Chihuly tickets cheaper in the morning?

Not necessarily. Prices vary by date and time, and late-afternoon slots are often the cheapest. Compare slots in the booking calendar.

Yes. King County residents get a discounted rate at the admissions office with ID. It isn’t sold online.

Do kids get in free?

Children under 4 are free. Youth 5–12 pay $35–40. The Space Needle and CityPASS also admit 4-year-olds free, so ask at the Chihuly desk if your child is 4.

Official tickets are non-refundable, with no exchanges. CityPASS and most reseller tickets, including the GetYourGuide entry ticket, offer free cancellation.

Is the Space Needle + Chihuly combo worth it?

Yes at peak times, when it saves up to $26 per adult. Off-peak it is barely cheaper. Our combo ticket guide has the full breakdown.
