Space Needle + Chihuly Garden and Glass Combo Ticket (2026): Price, Savings and How to Plan the Day
The Space Needle + Chihuly Garden and Glass combo costs $74 and includes IMAX. What it saves at peak and off-peak times, which venue to see first, and timed plans for the day.
The official Space Needle + Chihuly Garden and Glass combo costs $74 per adult and includes a 30-minute IMAX film on the same day. It saves $26 against peak-hour single tickets and about $1 against off-peak ones, so the time slot you book matters more than the discount. On most fall and winter weekdays Chihuly closes two hours before the Needle: see the glass first and ride up at dusk.

In brief
- Price and value: the combo costs $74 per adult and covers the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass and a same-day IMAX film. It saves up to $26 against peak-priced single tickets ($55 + $45) and about $1 off-peak ($35 + $40). Book it if you are seeing both on the same day; if you will see four or more Seattle attractions, CityPASS costs less.
- Order of visit: for most of the year, do Chihuly first and the Needle second. In the week of October 20, 2026 Chihuly closed at 5:30 pm Monday–Wednesday and 5:00 pm on Thursday, while the Needle stayed open until 7:30 pm or later, past sunset. Flip the order only if the morning is clear and clouds are forecast later.
- Rules that catch people out: both visits must be on the same date, with one entry at each venue. Your Space Needle arrival is timed, and if you arrive more than 5 minutes outside your slot you are moved to the next one. Official tickets are non-refundable. The Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass Ticket on GetYourGuide ($78, 4.7/5 from 2,776 reviews) adds free cancellation up to 24 hours before for about $4 more.

What exactly does the Space Needle + Chihuly combo include?
The combo gets you one timed entry to the Space Needle, one same-day entry to Chihuly Garden and Glass, and IMAX at the Center on the same day: three experiences within a few minutes’ walk of each other at Seattle Center.
At the Space Needle you get both observation levels. These include the open-air deck with its tilting glass walls, the Skyriser glass benches, and The Loupe, which the Needle bills as the world’s first and only revolving glass floor. You can stay up as long as you like until closing. According to the Space Needle’s official FAQ, the Skyliner™ elevator travels at up to 10 miles per hour and takes you from the ground to the Observation Level, 520 feet up, in about 41 seconds. Free digital photos are included.
At Chihuly Garden and Glass you get eight indoor galleries and the Glasshouse, which Chihuly’s official site describes as a 40-foot-tall glass-and-steel structure covering 4,500 square feet. Its suspended sculpture in reds, oranges and yellows is 100 feet long and made of 1,340 individual pieces, according to the official fact sheet. You also get the outdoor Garden, live glassblowing in the Community Hot Shop (demonstrations start at 11 am), a free smartphone audio tour, and free digital photos.
At IMAX at the Center you can watch one of two 30-minute films on the giant screen inside Pacific Science Center:
- Roll the Dice follows Dale Chihuly and his team as they push glass to its physical limits. Watch it just before or just after the galleries.
- Deep Sky shows the James Webb Space Telescope’s discoveries.
Is the IMAX film a combo perk?
Only partly. IMAX at the Center says admission “is included with any Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, combo, or Fast Pass combo ticket,” so single tickets get a film too. The combo-only extra is this: combo and Fast Pass Combo holders may stay for both films back-to-back, while single-ticket holders see one film per visit. No reservation is needed, and seating is first come, first served. Sources disagree on the theater’s size: the IMAX at the Center site says about 250 seats, Pacific Science Center’s venue page lists the PACCAR IMAX Theater at 325, and MyNorthwest reported 373 seats on a screen 80 feet wide. Payments there are cashless. The IMAX entitlement is valid only on the day of your ticket.
IMAX showtimes (current published schedule):
| Day | Roll the Dice (Chihuly film) | Deep Sky (space film) |
|---|---|---|
| Mon–Thu | 1:10, 2:40, 4:10 pm | 12:25, 1:55, 3:25, 4:55 pm |
| Fri | 11:40 am; 1:10, 2:40, 4:10, 5:35, 6:55 pm | 12:25, 1:55, 3:25, 4:55, 6:15 pm |
| Sat | 11:40 am; 1:10, 2:40, 4:10, 5:35, 6:55 pm | 10:55 am; 12:25, 1:55, 3:25, 4:55, 6:15 pm |
| Sun | 11:40 am; 1:10, 2:40, 4:10, 5:45 pm | 10:55 am; 12:25, 1:55, 3:25, 4:55 pm |
Insider tip: on weekdays the first film isn’t until 12:25 pm. If you plan a morning visit, IMAX has to come after lunch.
What’s not included?
- Day/Night re-entry: combo tickets give one entry at each venue. To go up the Needle twice (day and night), you need the Day/Night ticket or the Seattle CityPASS ($139, 4.7/5 from 886 reviews), whose Space Needle entry is a Day/Night visit.
- The Loupe Lounge: the reservation-only cocktail experience on the glass floor, booked separately. The Space Needle says it runs seasonally, from fall to spring.
- Food, drinks, parking and transport.
- IMAX on some reseller versions: at least one discount reseller (Funex) states “IMAX admission is not included” on its combo. Check your voucher’s fine print.
What about the $129 Fast Pass Combo?
The Fast Pass Combo adds priority boarding at the Space Needle. You use a dedicated boarding line inside the gift shop, which skips the standard queue, and ride the Skyliner double-deck glass elevator. Seattle Refined reports it opened on May 23, 2025, as part of a $100M modernization, was the first of its kind in North America, and fits 15–20 riders per cab. It includes the same Chihuly and IMAX access and costs $55 more per person than the standard combo. Buy it only if you have a hard deadline (a cruise all-aboard, a flight, a dinner reservation) on a busy summer or holiday weekend. The standard queue can be long: one 2024 TripAdvisor reviewer reported waiting 1 hour 15 minutes after their timed slot. The Space Needle itself says it usually takes about 30 minutes from the entrance to the top, through security, the Building the Marvel history exhibit and the elevator. On a quiet weekday from October to April, you won’t need it.
The Fast Pass Combo is sold only by the Space Needle; we found no GetYourGuide or Viator listing for it in October 2026.
Are there other Space Needle combos?
The Space Needle + Chihuly ticket is the main bundle. Other bundles are sold through the attractions’ Seattle Top Tix marketplace and via partners, but the line-up changes. For every Space Needle-only option (Day/Night, Season Pass, Loupe Lounge), see our Space Needle tickets guide. For Chihuly-only prices and discounts, see our Chihuly Garden and Glass tickets guide.
How much does the combo cost in 2026, and how much do you save?
The adult combo costs $74. Against two single tickets it saves between about $1 and $26 per adult, depending on the date and time you would otherwise visit.
The Space Needle prices general admission from $35 to $55 by date and time, and Chihuly lists general admission at $40–45. Both sites list the combo at a flat $74. The combo page footnote says it plainly: “Savings vary based on date and time of visit.”
| Scenario | Space Needle GA | Chihuly GA | Separate total | Combo | You save |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peak (summer weekend, sunset slot) | $55 | $45 | $100 | $74 | $26 (26%) |
| Mid (illustrative) | $45 | $42.50 | $87.50 | $74 | $13.50 (15%) |
| Off-peak (quiet weekday) | $35 | $40 | $75 | $74 | $1 |
What this means for you: the combo never costs more than two separate tickets, and it saves the most when the Space Needle is most expensive, which is also when you would want to go: clear-weather afternoons, weekends and sunset. The 5% City of Seattle admissions tax is added on top of the Space Needle’s published group prices and is likely added to individual tickets too (unconfirmed). It applies whichever way you buy, so it doesn’t change the comparison.
Already bought a single ticket? You don’t need to start over. The Space Needle says you can show your ticket at either box office to upgrade to the combo.
Combo vs CityPASS vs C3 vs resellers: which should you buy?
Buy the combo if the Space Needle and Chihuly are your only paid stops that day. If you will also visit the Aquarium, MoPOP, a Seattle harbor cruise ($43, 4.8/5 from 744 reviews) or the zoo within 9 days, move up to CityPASS. If you want exactly three attractions and some flexibility, consider C3.
| Option | Adult price | What you get | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Official combo (our pick for most) | $74 | Needle + Chihuly + IMAX (both films allowed), same day | Two-attraction days | Non-refundable; same-day only |
| Fast Pass Combo | $129 | The above + priority Needle boarding | Cruise or flight deadlines, peak weekends | $55 more for skipping the line |
| Seattle CityPASS | $139 ($119 child 5–12) | Space Needle (Day/Night) + Seattle Aquarium + 3 of: Chihuly, Argosy Harbor Tour, MoPOP, Woodland Park Zoo, Pacific Science Center; 9 days | 4–5 attractions | Reservations required at the Needle, Aquarium and Chihuly |
| Seattle C3 | $108 ($89 child) | Any 3 of 10 attractions | Needle + Chihuly + one more (e.g., MoPOP) | Saves little if you only use 2 |
| Group combo | From $62 + tax | Needle + Chihuly for 15–50 people | Groups, reunions, school trips | Minimum 15 tickets |
The Fast Pass Combo, Seattle C3 and the group combo are sold by the attractions and CityPASS directly; we found no GetYourGuide or Viator listing for them.
Reseller combo listings (October 2026):
| Reseller | Adult price shown | Cancellation | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| GetYourGuide | $78 | Free up to 24 hrs before; reserve now, pay later | 4.7/5 from 2,776 reviews; “next available entry after arrival” |
| Viator / TripAdvisor | $77.88 | Free up to 24 hrs before | 4.6/5 from 1,897 reviews; voucher redemption “subject to available ticket times” |
| Expedia | $77.98 (incl. taxes & fees) | Free cancellation available | Voucher instructions conflict on which box office to redeem at |
| Groupon | $77.98 adult; $72.72 youth/senior | Per Groupon terms | Promo codes come and go (an extra ~$2.29 off on October 20, 2026) |
| Headout | $77.88 | Non-cancellable | — |
| Klook | Combo listed | No cancellation | Reviewers say a QR code scans directly |
| Musement | From $62.47 (date-dependent) | No refund or changes | Older listing details; check current inclusions |
GetYourGuide and Viator checked October 23, 2026; the other listings were seen on October 20, 2026 and not rechecked.
Our take: the roughly $4 gap between resellers ($77.88–78) and the official $74 is close to what a 5% admissions tax would add, so the true difference may be pennies, though we haven’t confirmed whether the official $74 includes tax. If you want free cancellation (Seattle weather changes fast), a 24-hour-cancellation reseller is worth the small premium. If your date is fixed and the forecast is good, book direct. One more difference: voucher-based reseller tickets may not guarantee a specific Needle entry time, while official tickets lock your slot at checkout.
Who should NOT buy the combo?
- Travelers seeing 4+ paid attractions in 9 days: CityPASS costs less per attraction and includes a Day/Night Space Needle visit.
- Anyone who wants to split the two across different days: the combo is valid on one date only, so buy two single tickets.
- Fog-chasers with flexible schedules: if you would rather wait for a clear day to go up the Needle, a non-refundable same-day bundle works against you.
- People interested in only one venue: each single ticket includes IMAX anyway. For the glass alone, the Chihuly Garden and Glass Entry Ticket ($48, 4.7/5 from 463 reviews) is the one to book.
- Off-peak weekday visitors on a tight budget: the saving can be about $1, so buy the single ticket you are sure about and upgrade on site if you are enjoying yourself.
Which should you visit first: the Space Needle or Chihuly?
For most visitors, see Chihuly first and the Space Needle second. Chihuly closes earlier, the glass is best seen at an easy pace with fresh eyes, and the Needle stays open late enough to catch sunset. Reverse the order when the morning is clear and the forecast isn’t, or when you have kids who need the big thrill first.
Here is why it matters in October 2026 (our hours guide has the current hours for both venues). In the week of October 20, Chihuly was open 10:30 am–5:30 pm Monday–Wednesday and until 5:00 pm on Thursday, 10:00 am–7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 am–6:30 pm on Sunday. The Space Needle is open 10:30 am–7:30 pm Monday–Thursday, until 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and until 8:30 pm on Sunday. Chihuly’s last entry is generally one hour before close. On October 15, 2026, sunset is at 6:20 pm PDT according to sunrise-sunset.org, and it drops to about 4:30 pm after the clocks change in November. On a weekday, if you leave Chihuly until last, you risk missing the art. If you leave the Needle until last, you get the sunset.
“Which order?” decision table
| Your situation | Do first | Then | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekday, fall/winter, afternoon start | Chihuly | Needle at dusk | Chihuly closes 5:00–5:30 pm; Needle open to 7:30 pm |
| You want sunset from the top | Chihuly | Needle ~45 min before sunset | Allow about 30 min from entrance to top |
| Clear morning, clouds forecast later | Needle | Chihuly | Views depend on the weather; the glass doesn’t |
| Rain or low cloud right now | Chihuly (+ IMAX) | Needle if it lifts | Galleries and Glasshouse are rain-proof; check the Needle’s 360° live camera before going up |
| You want to see glassblowing | Needle in the morning | Chihuly after 11 am | Hot Shop demos begin at 11 am |
| Traveling with young kids | Needle | IMAX, lunch, Chihuly | Use the excitement early; the galleries suit calmer kids |
| Cruise day / hard deadline | Needle (consider Fast Pass) | Chihuly | The timed slot is the fixed point; Chihuly is flexible |
| Summer evening (June–July sunset ~9 pm) | Chihuly late afternoon | Needle 8–9 pm | Late summer sunsets fall after Chihuly closes |
| Winter (Nov–Jan) late afternoon | Needle at 3:30–4 pm | Chihuly until close | Sunset around 4:20–4:45 pm, so you see the Garden lit after dark before closing |
Seattle sunset times by month (plan your Needle slot around these)
| Month | Sunset (mid-month, approx.) | Book Needle arrival around |
|---|---|---|
| January | 4:45 pm | 4:00 pm |
| February | 5:30 pm | 4:45 pm |
| March | 7:15 pm | 6:30 pm |
| April | 8:00 pm | 7:15 pm |
| May | 8:40 pm | 7:55 pm |
| June | 9:10 pm | 8:25 pm |
| July | 9:00 pm | 8:15 pm |
| August | 8:20 pm | 7:35 pm |
| September | 7:20 pm | 6:35 pm |
| October | 6:20 pm | 5:35 pm |
| November | 4:30 pm | 3:45 pm |
| December | 4:20 pm | 3:35 pm |
Visitors and travel writers give the same sunset advice: arrive about 30–60 minutes before sunset and stay for the city lights afterwards. You can stay on the observation levels until closing.
For crowd patterns and the best light at the glass, see our guide to the best time to visit Chihuly Garden and Glass.
Do I need a timed slot at Chihuly with the combo?
You always pick a timed Space Needle arrival. Whether Chihuly also needs a slot depends on which official page you read. The sources disagree, so treat any Chihuly time printed on your ticket as binding.
- The combo page and the Plan Your Visit page say: choose a Space Needle arrival time, then “visit Chihuly Garden and Glass any time on the same day.” The GetYourGuide listing also says Chihuly is not timed.
- The Space Needle FAQ says: “You will be asked to select a 15-minute arrival window for each location,” now split into 5-minute timeslots. It adds that this “is only the arrival window for entry, once inside you can stay until closing.”
- Chihuly’s own terms state combo tickets are “valid for date and time on ticket only.”
Our advice: if checkout asks for a Chihuly time, pick one that fits the itinerary you choose below, and arrive on time. If it doesn’t ask, you can walk in any time that day before last entry. At the Space Needle, arriving more than 5 minutes early or late means you’ll be moved to the next available entry time, which on a busy day may not be soon.
How do I get between the Space Needle and Chihuly?
They sit side by side at Seattle Center, a few minutes’ walk apart. Chihuly’s entrance is at 305 Harrison St, right beside the base of the Needle. The Space Needle’s general entrance is outside on the north side of the tower, across from the monorail station; wheelchair users use a courtesy entrance on the ground floor in the gift shop. IMAX at the Center is inside Pacific Science Center, on the south side of the campus, a short walk past the International Fountain.
Getting to Seattle Center:
- Seattle Center Monorail from Westlake Center downtown takes two minutes, according to seattlemonorail.com (Visit Seattle says 3 minutes, with trains every 10 minutes and a $4.00 one-way fare; ORCA cards are accepted). It drops you right by the Needle.
- Driving: the Fifth Ave N Garage (5th Ave N & Republican St) is closest to Chihuly, and the Mercer Garage is another city-run option. Space Needle valet costs $25 an hour.
- Cruise passengers: Pier 91 has a complimentary Traxx shuttle with a direct Space Needle stop (20–30 min). From Pier 66 it’s a 10–15 minute rideshare, or walk to Westlake and take the monorail.
Sample itineraries: how to plan your combo day (with times)
These timings use October 2026 opening hours. Check the current hours (and Chihuly’s adjusted-hours list) for your date, because hours are posted about a month ahead. Our Chihuly and the Space Needle in one day guide adds what to see along the way.

5. Cruise Day: 4 Hours, Hard Deadline
The Space Needle’s own cruise planner suggests leaving the pier around 8 am and taking a timed Needle entry about 30 minutes later. Most guests “complete both experiences in 2 to 4 hours total, including travel from the pier.” Check that early-morning slots exist on your date, because October weekday opening is 10:30 am. With a fixed all-aboard time, the $129 Fast Pass Combo is the one case where we think it clearly pays off.
| Time | What |
|---|---|
| T+0:00 | Leave the pier (Traxx shuttle from Pier 91 or rideshare) |
| T+0:30 | Space Needle timed entry (Fast Pass on peak days) |
| T+1:30 | Chihuly (1 hour, galleries + Glasshouse) |

| 9:00–9:30 pm | Sunset and twilight from the top |
Pick your Needle time when you book: the GetYourGuide combo ticket shows the open slots for your date.
Where should you eat between the Space Needle and Chihuly?
You have three good options, all within a few minutes’ walk:
- The Bar at Chihuly Garden and Glass: the most memorable choice. You eat surrounded by more than 25 of Dale Chihuly’s personal collections and an illuminated wall of 36 Chihuly Drawings. It serves Pacific Northwest plates and cocktails. All ages are welcome and no reservations are taken, so arrive before noon. Hours change with the season, so check on the day.
- At the top of the Space Needle:
- The Revolving Bar on the Loupe level (cocktails, local beer and wine).
- The Sunset Bar on the upper level, home of the Mai Tai in the Sky.
- The TipTop Cafe for pies and soft serve.
- A TipTop Piestream by the box office. There’s no full-service restaurant; SkyCity closed in 2017.
- Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall: the budget-friendly, family-friendly choice. The building is open 7 am–9 pm according to Seattle Center, but vendor hours vary.
What are the bag, stroller and photo rules at each venue?
The rules differ between the two venues, which catches out combo visitors who check a bag at one and assume it’s fine at the other.
| Rule | Space Needle | Chihuly Garden and Glass |
|---|---|---|
| Large bags | Nothing bigger than airline carry-on; free lockers fit medium bags (bag check free for 2 hrs) | Bags over 11" × 15" not allowed; free coat check |
| Umbrellas | Allowed (security screening) | Must be checked |
| Strollers | Must be parked (car seats OK) | Large strollers not permitted; coat check |
| Water bottles | Plastic/metal OK; refill stations at top; no glass | No food or drink (including water) in galleries |
| Tripods | Allowed (be courteous) | No tripods, selfie sticks or extenders |
| Flash | Allowed | Official pages conflict; turn flash off to be safe |
| Phone calls | — | Not in galleries; Garden only |
| Photos for commercial use | Needs PR approval | Personal, non-commercial use only |
| Security | All guests and bags screened; no weapons | — |
Pack light: a small daypack or purse works at both. If you’re coming straight from a cruise or a hotel checkout with luggage, store it before you arrive. Neither venue takes suitcases.
Is the combo accessible for wheelchair users and visitors with disabilities?
Yes. Both venues are wheelchair-accessible.
- Space Needle: wheelchair users go through the courtesy entrance on the ground floor in the gift shop, at the arrival time on their ticket. Staff help with elevator access between the observation floors. Service animals are welcome; pets are not.
- Chihuly: the exhibition is all on one floor with no stairs. Mobility scooters are allowed in the galleries, Garden, Glasshouse and Theater. A paved path runs around the Glasshouse to wide, automatic doors. A limited number of free wheelchairs are available at coat check, first come, first served (ID may be requested). Guests with accessibility needs and their companion get priority access at reception. Theater videos are captioned, and audio-tour transcripts are available in several languages.
- IMAX: fully ADA-accessible, with ramps, elevator access and assistive listening on request.
- Quieter times: Chihuly notes the first hour of the day and after 5 pm are less crowded. The galleries are dim with spotlights, which some sensory-sensitive visitors find calming and others find disorienting.
What do visitors say about doing both together?
Most reviews are positive, and the most common surprise is Chihuly. The combo on GetYourGuide scores 4.7/5 from 2,776 reviews, and on Viator it scores 4.6/5 from 1,897. These themes come up again and again:
- Chihuly beats expectations. Typical comments are “more beautiful than expected” and “so much better than I expected,” and the attraction’s own site quotes a visitor who “thought we were killing an hour but was the highlight of our day.”
- The Needle’s timed slot isn’t a skip-the-line. Several reviewers mention queuing after their slot time. One 2024 reviewer reported a 75-minute wait in peak season, while 2026 reviewers mostly describe the crowds as well managed.
- How good the Needle is depends on the weather. Reviewers mention smoke from summer wildfires and zero-visibility mornings. One reviewer struggled to get a refund on a non-refundable voucher and had to reshuffle their schedule.
- Value for money scores a little lower (4.5/5 on GetYourGuide in October 2026) than the overall rating. That fits the math above: on off-peak days the saving is slim.
- IMAX gets mixed reviews. Some call Roll the Dice the key to understanding the art; one October 2026 reviewer said the IMAX part “can be avoided.”
Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)
- Leaving Chihuly until last on a weekday. It can close at 5:00–5:30 pm, with last entry an hour before.
- Missing your Needle window. Arriving 5+ minutes off means waiting for the next available slot.
- Buying a combo for two different days. It’s valid on one date only, and official tickets can’t be exchanged.
- Not checking Glasshouse closures. Gallery 9 (the Glasshouse) is sometimes reserved for private events. The rest of the exhibition stays open, but the centerpiece may not be. Check Chihuly’s “Adjusted Hours” list before you book; it showed early closings on several late-October 2026 dates.
- Redeeming a reseller voucher at the wrong desk. Reseller instructions conflict: some say start at the Space Needle, others say redeem at Chihuly “even if you’d like to visit the Space Needle first.” Follow your voucher, and redeem early so the Needle time you want is still available.
- Bringing a suitcase or umbrella. See the bag table above.
- Assuming IMAX runs in the morning. On weekdays the first show is 12:25 pm.
What other museums are near the Space Needle?
Two other big paid museums share Seattle Center with the combo pair: the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) and Pacific Science Center. Both are optional CityPASS picks.
| Museum | What it is | Approx. adult price | Hours (typical) | Pair it if… |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MoPOP (Museum of Pop Culture) | Frank Gehry-designed museum of music, sci-fi, horror and gaming; Jimi Hendrix and grunge artifacts; Halo exhibition from Oct 14, 2026 | ~$26.50–$36 (dynamic) | Mon–Fri 10–5; Sat–Sun 8:30–5 | You have 2.5–4 more hours and teens with you |
| Pacific Science Center | Hands-on science center (home to IMAX at the Center) | From ~$22.95 (WA residents) / ~$26.95 (others), more at peak | Wed–Sun 10–5 | You have younger kids and a rainy afternoon |
Our take: if you add either museum to the combo day, price out C3 ($108) before you buy: Space Needle + Chihuly + MoPOP is a valid C3 trio.

Our verdict: should you buy the Space Needle + Chihuly combo?
Yes, if you’re doing both on one day, as most first-time visitors do. It is the cheapest official way to see Seattle Center’s two most-visited attractions together, it never costs more than separate tickets, and it adds an IMAX double feature. You get the most from it by booking Chihuly in the afternoon and the Needle about 45 minutes before sunset, so you see the glass in daylight and the city lights coming on from the top, all on one ticket.
Choose a free-cancellation reseller if your date or the weather is uncertain. Choose the Fast Pass Combo only on peak days with a hard deadline. Choose CityPASS if you’re seeing four or more attractions.

Do I have to visit both on the same day?
Yes. Both must be visited on the date on your ticket, with one entry at each.
Which should I do first, Chihuly or the Space Needle?
Usually Chihuly first, then the Needle at sunset, because Chihuly closes earlier. Do the Needle first on clear mornings or with young kids.

Not on official tickets: they’re non-refundable, with no rain checks. Some resellers, including GetYourGuide, offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
Is there a Space Needle and Chihuly discount?
Youth (5–12) and senior (65+) rates exist. Military, King County resident and tribal rates are box-office only. Groups of 15+ start from $62 per person. CityPASS and C3 also include both. Our Chihuly tickets guide lists every discount.
Do kids need a ticket?
The Space Needle admits children 4 and under free, and Chihuly admits children under 4 free. Ages 5–12 pay the youth rate.
Can I upgrade my single ticket to the combo?
Yes. Show your ticket at either the Space Needle or the Chihuly box office.
Is IMAX included?
Yes. Combo holders can watch both 30-minute films, Roll the Dice and Deep Sky, on the same day.
What’s the “glass museum” next to the Space Needle?
That’s Chihuly Garden and Glass, the museum of Dale Chihuly’s studio glass at the base of the Needle.
Is the Fast Pass Combo worth $129?
Only with a hard deadline on a busy day. Otherwise the $74 combo is enough.
